Catherine’s passion for delectable olives has led her to explore
olive groves throughout California. She uses her own sensitive
palate to select the very best varieties and matches their unique
qualities to her recipes for tapenade and her selections for the
Olive Club. The hot valleys of Northern California produce rich
fruit from beautiful olive trees, many of which were planted more
than 75 years ago. The long hot summers give the young olives
sufficient time to mature slowly, ensuring that they develop into
full-flavored selections for your table. Once picked the olives are
slowly cured for up to twelve months; nothing is rushed in this
age-old process. Every other month wonderful treats will arrive
for you or the person who receives the
Olive Club as a gift from
you. One month it may be the Italian Deli Mix of olives, peppers,
onions, garlic and herbs, an antipasto in a jar, plus a wonderful
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a rich blend of three different olives: Sevilano, Ascolano and Manzanilla. Another month may feature
dry-style Olivasecca Olives, tree-ripened to allow the full olive
flavor to develop, excellent in salads or risotto plus an Artichoke
Tapenade with endless culinary possibilities. Whatever combination
Catherine selects that month, you can be sure it will be an enjoyable
one! Click the continue button below or on
Olives in the
shopping section, and choose the Club for yourself or the gift
package for your family and friends. Enjoy! |
